Rajputana, the pre-Indian independence name of India for Rajasthan, is the only royal state of India which welcome more than 25 million tourists every year. Most travelers who reach Rajasthan are interested in exploring massive forts, colorful palaces and amazing handicrafts, In this post I have tried to highlights some of the most impressive tourist sites, which you just can't miss in Rajasthan.

Amber Fort is one of the biggest castle built in Amer, to protect the City Place of Jaipur, which from early 18th century has been the house of local monarchs.

2. Mehrangarh Fort

Built and replace the old capital of Mewar kingdom of Rajasthan, Jodhpur, Mehrangarh Fort is one of the best well maintained forts in while Asia. The Fort is in Jodhpur and is still the property of the children of Jodhpur Maharaja. Mr. Gaj Sing is the owner and eve toyal the locals call him the maharaja of of Jodhpur, as he is provide job employment to many locals,

3. Lake Palace

A 83 rooms palace, built in the middle of Lake Pichola in Udaipur, is rated as the number 1 hotel in India and has also been awarded as top 50 hotels in the world. The entry in this luxury hotel is via a speed boat and this hotel has also attracted many Hollywood film makes, like 007 James Bond movie, Octopussy.
