7 Tips to Get Equipped for a Smooth and Safe Bike Ride

While riding a motor bike, it is extremely important to wear the right clothing and novelty helmets. Whether it is a high performing bike or a moped, no one will want it to be crashed. However, unfortunate things may turn out dragging to the serious situations the cost your well-being.  Thus, you need to have the right equipment to have safe ride, which is as follows-

  1. Protect your eyes with goggle:

 A goggle will protect your eyes from dust, wind, rain and insects while driving. Keep your glasses clean enough for a clear vision upon wearing. Clean your visor and goggles with warm soapy water. Spare yourself from using solvents or petrol to clean the surface of your goggles, as it can damage the surface. As the scratches can distort your view, it is better to replace glasses having scratches. Avoid tinted glasses, which cause poor visibility in the dark or foggy weather.

  1. Safety helmets to protect your head and face:

The first and foremost rule to ride a bike on the road is wearing a helmet. According to the country you are residing, you get to see helmets meeting the different standard. While purchasing skull cap helmets make sure it fits comfortably. The more you wear your helmet, the looser it gets.  So, if it is loose and or not coming into the shape, it may collide. Spare yourself from wearing damaged or second-hand helmet, as it loses the capacity to protect your head if an accident takes place.

  1. Gloves to protect your hands:

Driving without gloves may injure if you come across a sudden accident and fall off. In a cold weather, your hands become cold and rough that it is almost impossible to have firm grip over the clutches. Leather gloves are the best items, as they are supple and water resistant to keep hands warmer. When the gloves are used with other modern wearable items, you look more passionate biker.

  1. Boots to protect your feet:

You need a good pair of boots while riding a motorbike. Wearing sandals or slippers not only looks dull but makes you prone to accidents also. Moreover, a pair of boots protects your feet from getting injured, when you fall off. Boots can be made of leather, plastics and the manufacturing gives your feet the protection. Make sure your boots fit properly while driving; else it will keep distracting you upon wearing.

  1. Earplugs to protect ears from noise:

Riding motorbike exposes you to a lot of noise that comes from air turbulence and the engine. Even, continuous exposure to noise can impair your hearing permanently. Use earplugs to protect your ears from the noise. Upon searching, you may find some helmets that reduce noise caused by wind turbulence.

  1. Extra layers of clothing to withstand the temperature: 

While riding, the air makes your body cooler, especially your hands and feet start losing the senses. So, it is better to wear extra layers under the gloves and jacket. To beat the excess cold, stop your bike and warm up yourself for a while before you resume riding.
