Halloween Events You Can Enjoy in London

It also marks the beginning of the three-day observance of Allhallowtide, which is the time dedicated to remembering the dead, including saints, martyrs, and all the faithful departed. The activities on Halloween include trick-or-treating, lighting bonfires, apple bobbing, divination games, playing pranks, visiting haunted attractions, telling scary stories and watching horror films. In some countries, these are accompanied with attending church services and lighting candles on the graves of the departed although more stress is given on commercial and secular celebrations elsewhere. In London as in other cities of the western world, Halloween is celebrated with gusto and in 2017, it will be celebrated on Monday 31st October with some superb events and it is expected to get a lot creepier than in previous years. He will reconstruct a séance in an immersive performance and along with it a menu of Victorian-era cocktails will also be available. It will take place at Viktor Wynd’s Museum of Curiosities (Hackney) on 24 October, 6:30/9pm.

Fright Night

On the night of 27th October at 6:30pm, a haunted house will be created at Forty Hall where you will get a chance to explore the building by candlelight and you can explore for surprising characters along the way. You can finish off with a drink at the bar. The minimum age is 16 but a child-friendly version of the event will take place at different times.

Roof Party

A rooftop Halloween Party will take place at Kensington Roof Gardens on 27 and 28 October at 7pm, which will involve spookily themed nightclub, plenty of drinks, and a barbecue being fired up throughout the evening. Minimum age is 21.

Thriller Night

Retro vibes will be brought back by Club night I Love the 80s vs. 90s with a Thriller Night Party that will have music from the 80s and 90s along with scary, party pop cheesy tunes, rock, hip hop, and dance anthems. The best costumes will get prizes. It will take place at The Venue (Great Portland Street) on 28 October 10pm-3am.

Halloween Ball

On 28 October from 7pm-midnight, the Candleight Club’s Halloween event will take place over two rooms, with live jazz and dancing in the ballroom along with cabaret style performances, including gothic burlesque and comedy magic. Throughout the vintage-themed evening, tarot reading will also take place at this long-forgotten venue in east London.

Crime Scene Live:

 October’s edition of Crime Scene Live at Natural History Museum will enable you to spend the night in the role of crime scene investigator, gathering evidence and working with the museum's forensic experts to find out when, where and how the victim died. It will take place on 30 October at 6:30pm at Natural History Museum.
