In the first method, you need to place the olive oil and the spices in a clear bottle. Make sure the sterile bottle and cap is sealed and left at room temperature for few hours or even for more. The flavorful ingredients can cause the oil to become rancid. It needs to be refrigerated once the infused oils have reached to desired flavor level to keep up freshness.
And the second process is hot infusion. During this time, olive oil is combined with herbs and spices in a saucepan and gently heated on a stove. Just bring the mixture to a temperature between 180 and 200 degrees Fahrenheit to release the oil into mixture. Later on, it is strained into a bottle, sealed and refrigerated.
The third process includes food processor or blender. It works great for dry spices and woody fibers. All the ingredients are placed in the food processor and needs to blend smoothly. Finally, the infused oil are poured into bottles and refrigerated to preserve optimum flavor.
