The total number of vacancies for Post Office Recruitment 2018 is approximately 20000+ and the job roles are Postman, Mail guard, Multi-tasking staff, Postal assistant, Sorting assistant, Postmaster Cadres, Lower Selection Grade Posts, Inspector posts, Stenographers Grade ‘D’, Stenographers Grade 2, Indian Postal Service Group B, Director, Senior PS and private Secretary, Junior Hindi translator, Senior Hindi translator, Senior artist and Hindi typist. The Job location will be State wise and the type of job is Government job. Mode of registration is Offline.

Age limit for Post Office Recruitment 2018:

The age of applicant should be between 18 to 40 years as on cut-off date (1st January 2017). As per Indian Government norms, reserved category candidates deserves some relaxation in their upper age limit i.e., OBC category- 03 years, SC/ST category- 05 years and PH category- 10 years.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Aspirants who have completed their 10th and 12th class with English language as a compulsory subject are eligible to apply for the post.
  • Graduate/Diploma holders can also submit online application form.
  • They must have adequate computer knowledge for at least a minimum of 60 days.

Amount of Examination fees:

  • Paid amount is not refundable
  • No fees for Reserved category candidates as per Government norms (beware of the frauds)
  • 100 Rs. Will be charged from candidates of General categories

Salary structure and Selection process of Post Office Recruitment 2018:

Ones who are selected for above mentioned posts are expected to have salary of Rupees. 5200/- to Rupees.20, 200/- along grade pay of Rupees. 2400/- and the selection process is as follows:

  1. Candidates who have filled the application form are eligible for the further process only.
  2. They can further give the written test for various posts as per their choice.
  3. Merit list will be generated on the behalf of written test and marks that candidate achieved in 10th and 12th class.
  4. Selected applicants based on merit list will be submitted their original certificates of their previous documents like Birth certificates, 10 and 12th mark sheets etc.

Question paper for Post Office Recruitment 2018: There will be a question paper for 200 marks and the duration is 2 hours (120 minutes).
