Market players are increasingly entering into partnerships and collaborations in order to underscore lucrative growth opportunities. A news report recently published reveals that the Nilfisk and Blue Ocean robotics have entered into strategic collaboration in order to develop robots and intelligent cleaning machines for the market in Denmark and globally. The report states that the robotics and self-driving machines will fuel nearly 10% of the turnover of the Nilfisk within next 5-7 years. Blue Ocean Robotics, a specialized Danish Robot company has recently entered into a partnership with Nilfisk.

CEO of Nilfisk, Hans Henrik Lund stated that this partnership supplements the strong and existing partnership of Nilfisk within robotics. Through this partnership, the companies can conveniently meet the growing demand for maintaining reliable and precise cleaning requirements. He further stated that the company estimates that nearly 70% of the cost related to professional cleaning goes to the labor workforce. As cleaning remains the one of the industries with major employee turnover, the company continues to witness significant demand for self-driving machines, which can maintain cleanliness so that the workforce can be assigned other important tasks.

Hans Henrik Lund stated that Nilfisk is already on the path of technological transformation. He stated that the company wishes to develop the product portfolio along with the multi-partner strategy in collaboration with the companies that are equipped with highly specialized technology. He stated that the partnership will complement the existing partnership with the Carnegie Robotics comparatively well. Nilfisk and Blue Ocean Robotics will be working closely with the customers from the industry on developing the Nilfisk products.
