We have all spent our entire childhood playing Super Mario Bros, and we owe quite a great deal to them for making our childhood so wonderful. But there are certain things that we’re sure you don’t know about from the game!

10. SONIC THE HEDGEHOG:

Sonic, the hedgehog, was created because its creator played Super Mario Bros like crazy. He created this game so that he could get past the first level as fast and as easily as possible.

9. MARIO CONTRIBUTING TO DEATH:

Whenever the Koopa’s in the game turned the Mushrooms into the blocks when they invaded, it showed that Mario was contributing to the death of thousands while playing the game!

8. YOSHI AS A STAR:

There was a game that was created called “Croc”. Its main character was Yoshi from Super Mario Bros, as they wanted to make Yoshi the star.

7. THE MUSHROOMS IN SUPER MARIO:

The mushrooms from the game are based on a real mushroom with a psychedelic effect! It makes you feel like you are growing after you consume it.

6. LUIGI’S NAME:

Luigi’s name is an intended pun in the game. It resembles a word “Ruigi” which is Japanese, and it means “similar.”

5. CHAIN CHOMP OF THE GAME:

If you allow the chain chomp from the gain tug on its chain around 49 times, then you can expect it to break! This is from Super Mario Bros 3.

4. CHANGE IN MARIO’S NAMES:

Before the name “Mario”, the character was to be named “Jumpman”. The names, “Mr Video” and “Ossan” which means middle aged guy were also thought over about.

Before the release of Super Nintendo, Mario wore a different kind of outfit. He wore a blue shirt and red overalls. However, after the release of it, he wore a red shirt and blue overalls!

Kamek the magi Koopa was introduced in Donkey Kong. However, it was initially supposed to be introduced in Mario Kart 64.

Initially, Yoshi was supposed to be a Koopa in the game. Yoshi was a part of Super Mario World, and his saddle was originally a shell on his back.
