When it comes to buying upholstery interlining-factory fabric, there are a number of things you need to factor into your decision to ensure you choose the right material to meet your unique upholstery needs. This will be determine by the item of furniture being covered, your household and so much more. When it comes to style, you are going to want to pay careful attention.

The first thing you are going to need to focus on is the durability of the fabric. You can identify how durable the upholstery fabric needs to be by listing who will be using the furniture. Households with children and pets will need a strong and durable material which isn't going to wear down quickly with ongoing abuse.

Next you are going to have to decide where you intend placing the furniture once you have chosen your upholstery fabric and finished covering it. Furniture placement in high traffic areas, such as the family room or living room will require stronger and more durable fabric than an item that is mostly on display at the top of the stairs or in the bedroom window, for example.

Remember that woven fabrics tend to be stronger than printed fabrics. You will also want to focus on the thread count, the higher the thread count the more durable the upholstery fabric will be.

The second step is choosing the right upholstery fabric is to identify the style. You want to add character to the piece that you are covering, but at the same time you cannot cover a traditional chair with a modern and funky Woven Interlining fabric, this will look strange and out of place. Use the style to add your own personality to your décor design.
