The sense of smell is one of the most potent senses and you can control the smells in the ambience for creating certain moods. To emphasize the season or stimulate one’s sense of smell, fresh scents can be utilized. Similarly, the creation of warm smells a festive season can put you in festive mood. Do select the ideal scent for the area

When you are buying unique scented candles, you need to at least put some thought about the area where you are going to use the scent. For instance, floral scents are ideal for living areas, spicy scents can set up a romantic mood whereas citrus scents can keep a kitchen fresh and clean. So, if you want to spend a romantic evening with your partner or spouse, you can choose to use spicy scents and make the evening memorable for both of you.

Do choose subtle scents for small spaces

For small areas like bathrooms or powder room, it is advisable to select light scented candles. If you choose strong scent candles, it can overpower the enclosed area, especially when there is less ventilation. The scent which will then be produced will be overwhelming and will not produce the desired effect. So, for small spaces, select light high quality scented candles.

Do mix different scented candles

If you want to create unique scents, you can choose to light two different candles in the same area. For instance, you can light up lotus scented candles with Safari candles to create a unique scent. Another good combination can be mixing Ginger Fig with Serengeti. You will be fairly surprised to realize that the charm of the space has enhanced significantly. Just ensure to light the candles an hour before to allow the wax to melt and the beautiful aroma to fill the area.
