Medical treatments

Apart from above mentioned ways, there are some medical treatments that will help you to cure your sleep apnea problem, if home remedies got failed.

  • Nasal spray – Medicated product such as Asonor is an anti-snoring spray that helps avoid snoring and cure sleep apnea.
  • Continuous Positive Airway Pressure – It is a treatment in which as mask is preferred to worn over the mouth or nose while you sleep.
  • Dental Devices – These devices are specially designed to keep the airways open while sleeping.
  • Surgery – There is surgery method recommended if you have enlarged tonsils, smaller lower jaw or any other issue related to the reason of sleep apnea.
  • Uvulopalatopharyngoplasty – It is procedure in which the soft tissues on the back of the throat and palate are removed that result in increasing the width of the airway at the opening of throat.
