Gardening Methods For Your Needs

Posted by RuthWilmoth on November 15th, 2017

Gardening is that art that cares for and cultivates plants in external and internal spaces, public or private. It is no coincidence, more than a technique, to prefer an art, a practice dictated by passion and love for nature, which recreates, within walking distance from home, natural environments rich in aesthetic appeal and unsurpassed suggestions. All the techniques that include plant cultivation, homemaking, and maintenance are fully covered by the definition of "gardening", which also includes other activities, ie the choice of the shape of the garden, the balcony or the terrace , its decor and the philosophy to which it intends to inspire. In common language gardening is also called "green culture"

Where to practice it

Gardening, or the method of plant care and cultivation, can be practiced on private open spaces such as the terrace or the balcony, on external green spaces beside the house and known as gardens, in closed environments, or in nurseries, where gardening courses are organized. Cultivation and plant maintenance can be done for hobbies and for work. In this case, gardening can be practiced on behalf of third parties (companies, private individuals, public bodies) by covering a gardener. If plant cultivation is carried out on cultivable and large-scale fields, for productive purposes, then we talk about real agriculture.

Relegating gardening to the field of farming techniques seems to us, however, strongly reductive, because this "practice" is essentially made of love and passion that interweaves with taste, aesthetics and design. It is no coincidence that the creation and design of a garden are often entrusted to specialized designers who will integrate the cultivated plants into a specially created ad hoc environment where fixed and mobile items (furnishings, fountains, swimming pools) blend perfectly with the colors and shapes of plants and shrubs cultivated.

As already mentioned, gardening can be practiced in the garden itself, in the apartment, on the balcony or on a more or less spacious terrace. Each of these spaces is suitable for the cultivation of specific plant species. For example, herbaceous plants are suitable for the lawn or lawnmaking of the garden, while flowering plants may serve to color flower beds or create beautiful floral collections of pots, terraces and balconies. Small spaces, just as indicated, can also be used to host aromatic plants, which with their scent and intense green coloring contribute greatly to expressing that "green culture" typical of gardening. In indoor spaces, however, it is preferable to cultivate plants that are resistant to closed environments. Among the flower species, the roses certainly represent the "queens" ofgarden and gardening.

Featuring in nature both spontaneously and hybrid, the roses adapt to the creation of beautiful roses capable of giving a class touch to the simplest and most innocent garden that exists. Climbing species (and not just roses) can serve to decorate balconies, walls and fencing to obtain not only a pleasant aesthetic effect but also cover for privacy and shelter from heat and sunlight. Gardening also contemplates the cultivation and care of fruit trees, especially cultivated in the garden for purely ornamental purposes.
