How Brooke Wall Built A Bridge Between The Worlds Of Hollywood & Fashion

Brooke Wall could be credited with single-handedly creating the cult of the celebrity stylist. Ten of this year’s 20 Oscar nominees for Best/Best Supporting Actor/Actress were styled by her clients, including Viola Davis (Elizabeth Stewart), Meryl Streep (Micaela Erlanger) and Ruth Negga (Karla Welch). With offices in Los Angeles, New York, London and Paris, her company, artist management agency The Wall Group, represents over 150 of the biggest names in fashion and beauty, including stylists Kate Young and Ilaria Urbinati; makeup artists Hung Vanngo and Lisa Storey; and hairstylists Danilo and Chris Appleton. Two years ago, Wall sold the company she founded in 2000 to entertainment juggernaut Endeavor (formerly WME-IMG). Since the acquisition, she remains firmly at the helm. Here, she talks about the colossal business of creativity, and how artists are leading the new wave of influencers.
