JEE Main Application Form 2018 is expected to be available from 1 December 2017. This exam is conducted for admission in undergraduate engineering program from NITS (National Institutes of Technology), IIITS (Indian Institutes of Information Technology) and any other CFTI (Centrally Funded Technical Institution) across the country. To secure admission the candidate has to clear JEE MAIN and who so ever will clear this exam will be able to fill the next exam JEE ADVANCED which is the next stair for your admission. The applicant who will clear both the exams will be able to secure his/her admission for undergraduate engineering program.  JEE MAIN exam is held to know the skills of the applicant who are willing to take the admission in BE/BTECH at NITS, IIITS and other CFTIS.

Eligibility

The candidates whose birthdate will be on or after October 01, 1993 are eligible to fill the form in General category however, for SC/ST/PWD the age limit is relaxed by 5 years which means the candidate whose birthdate is on or after October 01, 1988 are eligible for filling the JEE MAIN application form 2018.

The candidates must have and passed 5 subjects in their 12 class. Only the candidate who have completed or are pursuing their 12 or any equivalent qualify exam can apply for the exam.

How to Apply

STEP 1 – Registration

The first step for application form is registration to register yourself for the exam you have to go to “APPLY FOR JEE MAIN- 2018” under “New Candidate Registration”. For registration you will have to fill further details about yourself like- your name, father’s name, mother’s name…etc.

After completing your details click on submit.  It will generate an application number. The application number is very crucial keep it safe as your application number will help you communicate for further details.

Candidates are suggested to give their alternate Email ID and contact no., so incase your preferred id and contact no. are out of service you can get all the information on your alternative id and contact number.

STEP 2 – Uploading Photograph & Signature

 Second step is to upload your scanned photograph, signature and thumb impression. The candidates have to keep in mind that their photograph should not exceed from 4kb – 40 kb with dimensions 3.5 cm(w) * 4.5 cm (h). While uploading your signature make sure your signature should not exceed from 1kb – 30kb with dimensions 3.5cm (l) * 1.5 cm (h). And for your thumb impression the size should be 1kb – 30kb with dimensions 3.5cm(l) * 1.5cm(h). If your photograph, signature and thumb impression exceed the given size and dimensions then they will not be acceptable in the form.

NOTE- The candidates should scan their photograph, signature and thumb impression before they start filling the application form.

STEP 3 – Payment of the Application Fee

 The last and the final step is payment. The payment schedule of online as well as offline JEE MAIN exam form for Indian candidates is different from the International candidates. The candidates can make the payment of the application fee through Debit/ Credit Card/ Net Banking.

FOR INDIAN CANDIDATES

The payment schedule for Indian candidates of online as well as offline JEE MAIN application

 form 2018 is as:

• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 or PAPER -2 (offline exam): Rs.1000 for boys and Rs.500 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.500 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 and PAPER -2 (offline exam):  Rs.1800 for boys and Rs.900 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.900 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 or PAPER -2 (online exam): Rs.500 for boys and Rs.250 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.250 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 and PAPER -2 (online exam): Rs.1300 for boys and Rs.650 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.650 for both.

FOR INTERNATIONAL CANDIDATES

• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 or PAPER -2 (offline exam): Rs.1000 for boys and Rs.500 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.500 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 and PAPER -2 (offline exam): Rs.1800 for boys and Rs.900 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.900 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 or PAPER -2 (online exam): Rs.2500 for boys and Rs.1250 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.1250 for both.
• For JEE MAIN PAPER-1 and PAPER -2 (online exam): Rs.3800 for boys and Rs.1900 for girls for general category and for SC/ST/PWD its Rs.1900 for both.
