What is better and more efficient exercise? Cycling or running? Experts measure pros and cons and present the results.

Ideal exercises for weight loss, cycling and running, are "ripped off" claiming 1st place. Which is ultimately the best?

Running is a classical form of exercising all over the years. From the ancient time till now days, people loved to run. They loved the feeling that the speed increase was coming from their own body, from their own feet. Cycling however is considered to be equally classical and timeless and tends to become a trend nowadays. The ecological consciousness that bothers everybody and the fed up of the daily traffic jam are some of the most important reasons that lead everybody to these two kinds of exercising. Both forms of exercise are the best known for weight loss and fat burning as well as for improving cardio-respiratory fitness and fitness. But which one is the best? Winner is the one that will convince you to make it part of your everyday life.

Benefits:

Both of the two exercises improve your cardio-respiratory capacity, physical fitness and general health as well as strengthen your leg muscles just as well. Cycling, however, strengthens the quadriceps and more specifically the mid-wide muscle and improves the mobility of the hip joint.

Calories:

When someone is running, he burns a lot of calories because more muscle groups are activated as you are called to transport and support your body An average price for running is 500 calories in 40 minutes for a man weighing 70kg, while the same person at the same time he bikes, he is going to burn 400 calories instead.

Indications:

Bicycle is better if you are a "beginner" and especially if you are overweight, because it does not burden the joints, on the other hand it will make it easier for you to go faster into programs of greater intensity and therefore burn more calories. Instead, if you start a training program now, you will initially restrict yourself to a quick walk, slowly jogging and then running to avoid injuring your joints and knees. This automatically limits the calories you burn.

Equipment:

For running what you need is a good pair of athletic shoes, suitable for you and the place you decide to run, a court or just on the street  while for the bike, the bike is the obvious equipment but also the helmet too. A responsible cruiser cykler should take care of his safety too.

Do it right

If you think biking or running can be mentally done, then you are absolutely wrong. In order to lose weight you need to get more calories than you take on a daily basis and to do this you have to focus on your goal. Make sure every training lasts from 25 to 60 minutes depending on the intensity you have chosen  and regularly, that is 3-4 times a week.

Proposal

The procedure of burning calories depends on your weight and especially on the intensity of your program, so if you are moderate or advanced you prefer the interdisciplinary training method with which you will "get rid" of more calories in the same time. Intermittent is the workout in which alternate "cycles" of intense exercise with "cycles" of relaxation, (which are as used as "breaks". For example, you do 1 minute fast running, then 1 minute walking, and then running again, and so on. 20 minutes of total exercise (+ 5 'at the warm-up, at a slow pace) are completed. The same goes for the cycling too. The ratio of intense exercise intervals to relax, but also the intensity and size of "circles", depends only on your level.

One pound of fat in 4 weeks

Although both exercises are suitable for burning calories, this does not mean that exercising is the only way to bring you back in shape. At the same time you follow a healthy and balanced diet. So it is good to think before you eat or drink. If you want to lose weight try to focus to a program that burns at least 2,000 calories a week that is about 4 workouts of 500 calories. One pound of fat corresponds to 7700 calories. You can burn these calories in about four weeks. Just do not increase your calorie intake through diet and be consistent in your program.

Whatever you choose, one thing is for sure. You will end up being fit and healthy in any possible way. Give your life a quality, either with a bike or on your own feet. The choice is yours and the result is going to please you in a great way. Focus on the life that is waiting for you out there.
