Upcoming Models that Make BMW A Revered Brand in the Global Automobile Industry

Posted by Thompson Clark on November 24th, 2017

Just like any other brand, even the Bavarian car major has got a pretty long list of the vehicles planned out for the upcoming year. However, it is more appropriate to consider these plans to be large in scope than in size. The car makers have visualized how the electric cars will be ruling over 20 to 25 percent of the car sales in the global market by 2025 and have been planning their models accordingly. There are three car marques that fall under their brand head and all the BMW, MINI and Rolls Royce will be finding equal contribution in the upcoming years. Let’s take a note of all the new cars that are set to launch in 2018 and how they prove to be promising for the entire automobile industry.

The All new BMW X3

Even though revealed in 2017, the car might find its official launch in the market in 2018. Having set to bring in complete evolution as far as the design is concerned, the X3 will find a grille bigger in size than the previous versions, and also a front bumper which will lack the big fog lamps. With an elongated length on the side, the shoulder line will be given a straighter look at the recent models. The dual exhaust has been shifted to either side in order to give a new design to rear end as well, but the powertrain options are yet to be disclosed.

The BMW 5 Series and Touring

The seventh generation of the 5 Series Sedan has been launched globally by BMW and experts in BMW repair Greensboro along with their marketing professionals have already claimed that two other body styles- the long base and the Touring are also scheduled for the year. It is the practical styling and competent performance that describes these models and they are bound to bring in a sensational change in the market.

The BMW X7

The brand had somewhat realized that they have been giving Audi and Mercedes-Benz a monopoly hold over the market to some extent, as they never had any model that could be a fitting reply to the Q7 or the GLS SUV. But that couldn’t go on forever, and hence they are up to bring the X7 which is by far the most luxurious 7 seater SUV ever. Even the brand has made the official announcement that this particular model is going to complement the 7 Series which is the flagship model in their entire portfolio.

The BMW X2

Even though it is an open declaration from BMW’s end that they will mostly keep their focus on the high-end luxury models and electric vehicles as that’s what the future demands from them. However, they are not going to ignore the compact SUV portfolio completely. So in order to fill in the gap between the X1 and X2, the brand has recently launched the luxurious compact X2. The BMW repair professionals have noted it out sharply that it will be more of a crossover than a conventional SUV that the market has been seeing.

The days ahead for the brand enthusiasts and car lovers is quite exciting, at least the models in line speak so. However, it might not be just 2018, but the year 2025 that stays in complete focus for the brand.
