The employees need to understand what exactly will happen if they use the unknown app. They need to realise the amount of threat that is awaiting them and what are the consequences. If they understand everything in details they will never make such mistake in future. Managing shadow ITis not easy until there is a communication gap between the stages of people that work in the company. If the company faces license issues, then it will face lawsuits and eventually along with the company, the employees will also get affected! So in the long run, this will harm everyone! So the employees need to be very sure about the software before using it. They can talk to the IT department and get the program approved!
