In 1991, it was a big move as Quantum computer was renamed as America Online which was basically Internet Service Providers Company and introduced its Email services in 1993 which was a really big step for the company. Now the time has come up take some hard step as it started expanding its business and acquired some more companies and their services such as in 19977 it acquires CompuServe and then later on Netscape.

By the end of the year, 2000 AOL was the nation’s biggest Internet service provider company with the worth of 5 billion. This was a trend for AOL which worked sometimes and failed even sometimes. In the year 2009 due to some financial loses it faced some problems and from 2006 to 2015 it acquired many companies and their wealth, employees and services with technology.

In the year 2015 AOL was acquired by Verizon which was really a big move for everyone as its all services will be known as Verizon except Email services. Recently Verizon announced that they moving their Email services to the AOL server. It means from now onwards the users of even Verizon will utilize the AOL server for sending and receiving the Emails.
