Model accuses Bruce Weber of sexual harassment

A complaint has been made against photographer Bruce Weber by model Jason Boyce, who has alleged Weber forced him into performing sexual acts without consent.

Boyce, who formally filed the complaint in the New York State Supreme Court on Friday, alleges Weber sexually harassed and discriminated against him on the basis of his gender, and is now suing him.

“Boyce was the victim of ‘casting couch’ practices by the defendants, upon information and belief, are prevalent in the modeling industry, and suffered humiliation, emotional anguish and lost economic opportunities, including the end of his modeling career in New York,” the complaint stated, according to a report in WWD.

The complaint details a disturbing account of alleged sexual harassment, including kissing.

After asking Boyce to remove his shirt and pants — despite it not being previously stated as a nude shoot — Boyce alleges Weber “instructed Mr. Boyce to put his hands on himself, ‘wherever you feel your energy go,’” the documents read.

“Mr. Weber grabbed Mr. Boyce’s arm, and moved it back and forth, so that Mr. Boyce was forced to rub his own genitals.”

“Weber put his fingers in Mr. Boyce’s mouth. Shocked, Mr. Boyce opened his eyes. Mr. Weber told him to keep his eyes closed, and kept his fingers in Mr. Boyce’s mouth. ‘If you just had confidence, you’d go really far,’ Mr. Weber whispered. ‘How far do you want to make it? How ambitious are you?’ Mr. Boyce did not respond.”

Neither Weber, nor the agency, have commented at this time.
