JEE Main Paper 2 ? Know the Selection Process in Detail

JEE Main Paper 2 is an entrance exam for architecture and is conducted by Central board of Secondary Education. This architecture entrance exam is organized for the candidates to secure their admission in the 5 years undergraduate B. Arch and B. Planning courses at NIT’s as well in other centrally funded institutes and also in the self-financed institutes. The JEE Main Paper 2 is the second level exam and the candidates who have successfully qualified in Paper 1 can appear for the Paper 2 exam. This exam is a pen and paper based entrance exam.

The eligible candidates who are willing to apply for the Paper 1 exam can also apply for paper 2 and vice versa but all the applying candidates must know that the application fee is different for every candidate who is willing to apply for either the exam or only single.   • Candidates will be allotted All India Ranks which will be based on JEE Main scores and the marks scored in their class 12 or any equivalent exam.
  • All the qualified candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their paper 2 scores and the marks which they have scored in class 12 in the ratio of 60:40.
  • The admission will be offered on the base of their choice by the candidates during the counselling.
  • All institutes which are participating in NITs or centrally funded institute can prepare their own ranking as per their criteria.
