Compared with other types of laser pointer, fiber laser has the advantages of higher efficiency, longer service life, less maintenance, lower cost and so on. The cutting head of a laser cutting machine is a red laser pointer output device, which is composed of a nozzle, a focusing lens and a focusing and tracking system. The cutting head of laser cutting machine will walk according to the set cutting path, but the height of laser cutting head needs adjusting control under different material, thickness and cutting mode.

With advances in compound semiconductor technology, industrial applied high power diode laser system will get great developments on its high output power and better laser beam quality, thus making greater expansion of its industrial application work fields. In high-power fiber laser pumping source aspect, fiber coupled green laser light system power increases constantly, fiber core diameter and a numerical aperture continue to decrease, resulting in constant improvement of laser light brightness of fiber lasers. Although users can get even higher power and reduced dimension diode lasers, however, its production cost is becoming lower.
