KCET 2018: Karnataka Examinations Authority Released Exam SchedulePosted by Mota Chashma on January 10th, 2018 KCET 2018 exam schedules are released by KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) which offers admissions in multiple undergraduate as well as professional programs. Every interested applicant can now apply for the exam to secure their admission in multiple professional courses. All the undergraduate courses as well as all the professional courses are offered by various colleges in the state of Karnataka. And, as per the official pamphlet of Karnataka Common Entrance test, the applicants can secure their admission in programs such as Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga and many more. KCET 2018 is a state level entrance exam which is also known as Karnataka CET (K CET/ Kar CET). This entrance exam is organised by the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) under the sponsorship of Karnataka University. The Language test will be conducted on 20 April 2018. The Common entrance test for various subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology will be conducted on 18 and 19 April 2018. This is confirmed by the officials that this year the entrance exam will be conducted early as compared to previous year. The exam will be conducted in two shifts i.e. 10:30 am to 11:50 pm and the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 3:50 pm. The interested and eligible can apply as the application form for the Karnataka common entrance exam will be available through online mode only. As there is no other mode applicable to get their application form. Candidates can apply for their KCET 2018 registration till the due date lasts i.e. the 1st week of March 2018. All the applicants have to upload their required scanned photograph, their left hand thumb impression and their signature. The applying candidates must keep in their mind that their scanned documents must not exceed their size limit. And the size limit of their thumb impression must be greater than 5 KB and less than 40 KB, the dimension of their recent photograph must be 3.5 cm x 4.5 cm and the dimensions of their signature must be 3.5 cm x 1.5 cm. All the candidates must read all the given guidelines very carefully before they start filling their application form. When the applicants start filling their KCET 2018Application Form they must read all the related guidelines and after completing with their payment section they can take a print out of their confirmation form for future preferences. The applicants can make their payment only through Offline mode also. And the application fee is Rs. 650/- for General and OBC categories students similarly, for the candidates who belong to SC/ST category has to pay Rs. 500 as their application form fee. The eligibility criterion for every program is different for Engineering/Architecture and Pharmacy/Science. Every candidate must have cleared their 10+2 for applying for the entrance exam and must have score 50% average marks (for General and OBC category students) and for SC/ST category candidates must have scored 40% average marks for being eligible to apply for the Karnataka Common Entrance Test 2018. It is mandatory for the applying candidates to take a print out of their confirmation form as to give a proof of their registration. To avoid the chance of damage the candidates can take 2-3 copies of their confirmation form. The exam pattern for KCET 2018 is mentioned below for all the candidates:
