As a student you will have many budgeting decisions to make; food, entertainment, bills, travel and your choice of accommodation. You will probably have limited funds to make such a decision. It's an important decision to make as well, as it will impact your living standards and your general happiness whilst studying away from home. So how can you get the best options? If you're studying somewhere where accommodation is plentiful, such as London, then you will have a much wider choice than elsewhere. Searching online can let you see the cheap options that are available, and you can check prices straight away to see if the flats you are looking come under your budget. You can also check local listings for the London area, having the list of flats or a flatshare looking for tenants to contribute to their rent.
