5 Interesting Things To Do Before The PoE Abyss Ends!

The Abyss league and Hardcore Abyss league are the current challenge leagues. The leagues started on December 8, 2017 alongside the release of the War for the Atlas expansion. (Version 3.1.0) and will end on 2018-02-27 New Zealand time or 2018-02-26 US time. All characters and stashes will be moved to Standard league and Hardcore league respectively when the leagues end. Characters that die in the Hardcore Abyss league are immediately moved to the permanent Standard league.

I will start:

1) Make a GC mines build. It’s not without flaw but due to the attention and damage potential the build has, it will get toned down. 1 shotting Elder guardians / Izaro phases is real.

2) Make a Windripper build or Shaper “% damage added as..” build. These, combined with abyss jewels dish out some insane numbers

3) Make a build that incorporates a light-poacher. Efficacy aside, it’s just fun to run mid level maps and have spirit charges dissolving mobs.

4) Craft an elder / shaper item. You don’t even really have to know much about crafting. Just find yourself a decently high iLvl base, and right click a few chaos on it.

Give PvP a shot. [insert flame] PvP is another dimension of the game that seriously adds to what all you can do with your builds. There’s no xp penalty for dying and it’s a new game mode for folks that haven’t ran a CTF or 3v3 before. In addition, the PvP community is much smaller in numbers and as a side-effect very willing to help people looking to get involved.
