How web technology works

Web technology refers the means by which computers communicate with each other using markup languages and multimedia packages. It gives a way to interact with hosted information, like websites. Web technology include the use of hypertext markup language (HTML) and cascading style sheets (CSS).

We know that computers connected to the web are called clients and servers. Clients are the web user's internet-connected devices and web-accessing software available on those devices. Servers are computers that store websites, pages, etc. When a client device wants to access any webpage, a copy of the webpage is downloaded from the server onto the client machine to be displayed in the user's web browser.

All the web pages are stored in a web server ,all these servers have been interconnected so that we can access web pages from each other. When enter a certain web address to the web browser, first that request is sent to the Internet Service Provider (ISP), which is connected to the internet so that it can locate the server where the web page we requested resides. The real time web technologies include real time web analytics, digital advertising, project management & collaboration etc.
