What is infrastructure deployment?

                                      IT infrastructure deployment involves defining the sequence of operations or steps, often referred to as a deployment plan that must be carried to deliver changes into a target system environment. Technology infrastructure exists to meet the business needs of an organization that supports the enterprise architecture, facilitates communications, facilitates the attainment of business objectives etc.

                                           The technology infrastructure that includes people, processes and technology. Infrastructure deployments can take advantage of the centralized services provided by an identity management infrastructure, such as sharing services across a variety of Oracle and third-party applications, and create a central group, that consists of application, network, and security administrators. The individual operations in a deployment plan can be executed manually or automatically.

                                      The data center infrastructure often includes the power, cooling and building elements necessary to the support data center hardware. Then the hardware infrastructure usually involves servers, storage subsystems, networking devices, like switches, routers and physical cabling, and dedicated network appliances, such as network firewalls.  Data center infrastructure also requires careful consideration of IT infrastructure security. This is can be include physical security for the building, such as the electronic key entry, constant video and human surveillance of the premises, carefully controlled access to the server and storage spaces, and so on. This ensures only authorized personnel can access the data center hardware infrastructure and reduces the potential for malicious damage or data theft.

                                         To create a traditional data center infrastructure, organizations typically follow a formalized process that starts through analyzing and accessing business goals, making architectural and design decisions, building and implementing the design, and then optimizing and maintaining the infrastructure. The process usually involves detailed expertise, including data center building design, subsystem and component selection, and quality construction techniques.
