With such an increase in the urban cities, the land prices and the flats prices are touching the sky. Though there are several investors that have come up with various housing schemes to make the lifestyle better for those who cannot afford such hike in the price. With such a rapid change, Delhi/MCR is all set be called as the mega polis state/city. But the question here is that is our capital city all set for this new development? We are not too sure about this as there are several investors who have put the bid for the government for the construction of these new flats/houses.

Dwarka L Zone

It was declared by the Prime Minister that a mega budget for the new housing scheme for poor and lower middle class families. This announcement came under the Delhi Housing Scheme and the land pooling policy with many private builders. Under this scheme, the government joined hands with the private builders who would in near future construct and allot furnished houses to those who cannot afford high priced apartments and flats. All the lower middle class and those who fall under the lower income group will be eligible for a house at a very affordable price. This upcoming project has been estimated to be completed by the end of the year 2022.

As we all know that Delhi has been the hub of urbanization. However, the heavy and ever increasing population in Delhi has proven to be a curse for the city. The central government has always failed at all levels for rampant and unauthorized construction, hence the Prime Minister had to announce this scheme for the betterment of the city as well as its people. The government is striving towards making fundamental changes by developing the rural areas nearby. Dwarka L Zone falls under this category of urbanization.

The government has not been able to acquire even a single plot in the last decade. Thus the Land Poling Policy has come into existence. Under the land pooling policy, the interested candidate or the interested land owner can surrender their land to the DDA and in turn, DDA will give this land to the real estate developers. This comes under the Delhi Housing Scheme and Dwarka Commercial. The land owners will get almost 48 percent of their land fully furnished by the DDA. And the rest of the developed area will be retained by the DDA or the private builder. This housing scheme and the projects under this scheme will be carried on for seven years, as we all know.
