Here in Orlando huge number of people nowadays buying Digital cameras. Look like they understand the need of camera in their life. Well most of them only know how to take a photo; they don’t know about aperture or shutter speed.  If you are a victim of photography then you must have heard about Aperture, but do you know what is it to do with photography and what is the best way to take a photo? Let us know the answer to these questions. As an experience, Orlando wedding photographer my friend always tries to share about photography. So here it is what he knows about aperture

Get Known about Aperture

Aperture is a hole in the camera's lens from which the light comes inside the camera. The camera takes the photo from the same light which comes in through the Aperture. And it depends on the limit of light, on Aperture's size and shutter speed.Talk about shutter speed, if your camera's shutter speed is 100 millisecond, then it means that your camera made the photo from the light that was made by Aperture inside the camera in 1 millisecond. If you talk about Aperture, if the size of the aperture is big, then more lights will come in and if the size of the aperture is small, then the less light will come in.If this light comes more than a limit then the photo will be overexposed and if it comes less than that limit, the photo will be underexposed, to avoid this, the Aperture has to be fixed in our camera.

Size of Aperture

The size of the aperture is measured by the F-stop. Some standard sizes of the aperture are as follows - F1.4, F2.8, F3.5, F5.6, F8, F11, F16. Lower the aperture's f-stop number then higher will be the size of the aperture. The larger the size of the aperture, the more light in the camera will be available. In Digital camera aperture size can be changed, we can use smaller or bigger aperture size but on a Smartphone, such facility is not available.

Size of aperture also affects the depth of field, it means subjects background depth also get affected. The camera with a large aperture i.e. f1.4 blurs the background and puts the subject in focus, which gives great quality photos and which has a small aperture i.e. f16 holds both background and subject in focus.
