Are You Ready For The Release Of Android P?

After the release of Android Oreo, it’s never early to start thinking of Android P. In fact, many of the smartphone manufacturers across the Android universe have started preparing themselves to showcase this year’s flagship offerings with new features. Google has already started working in full force to release the next version of Android, popularly known as Android P. The following post emphasizes on what to expect from the latest version.
Stricter privacy controls
One of the most appealing features that could bring a huge difference in the way Android smartphone work is the introduction of stricter privacy controls. With the release of Android Marshmallow, Google gave users the ultimate power to control the access to all installed apps. Speaking of Android P, it allows a user to control whether or not an app can access the camera and the microphone. So in case, if you are worried about an app recording your audio while you are having a conversation or clicking your pictures secretly, then you don’t need to. As the latest version will automatically block access to these sensors for the concerned apps.
The Notch is on its way!
Android P will also favor the Notch. Love it or loathe it, much like iPhone X, Android will gain native support for displays with the notch on top of them. According to Google, Notch is the buzzing trend in the smartphone market. Also, putting the notch on Android smartphones is quite essential for Google to lure more and more iphone users to switch to their open source OS.
Another attention-grabbing feature for Android fans over the past few years has been the inclusion of a dark mode. The dark mode has been found to sip on power efficiently on devices with an AMOLED display and it even makes the user interface look good. Although, Android’s previous iterations had included a dark mode in their development stages but never made it to the public release. With more and more manufacturers embracing AMOLED panels for smartphones, Google could now finally show mercy and give us the highly anticipated dark mode as standard.
Weather widget always on display
With Pixel 2, Google had finally put out support for an Always-On Display. The feature turns out to be highly useful especially for those who prefer to get the most important notifications available at a single glance. In Pixel 2 the screen shows any song playing nearby, of course, if enabled. And now, Google could add the weather widget to the Always-On Display, which will only increase the feature’s productivity.
Tighter integrations with Chrome OS
Android P is on its way to get serious about better- connecting Android and Chrome OS. After all, Apple is killing it when it comes to the relationship between iOS and macOS. Apple gives consumers a reason to own an iPhone and iMac – it's time Google does the same with the Pixel and Pixel book.
So that’s all for now! These are some of the top features most of the Android app development companies are hoping to see in Android P.
