Canada Immigration - 3,000 Express Entry Applicants Obtain ITAs in March 14 Draw

Canada Express Entry (EE)--as it is too well known--has revolutionized the manner skilled migrants are admitted and invited to the country. Canada immigration has now become better and faster.

In this article, we will talk about the latest EE Draw conducted recently, on March 14, to facilitate Immigration to Canada for the lucky candidates.

As per the available report, Ottawa has sent the Invitations to Apply (ITAs) to 3,000 aspirants to apply for Canada PR Immigration in the draw even as 456 was the minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) total for the said draw.

The specific draw for Canada Immigration occurred post the first three-week break between draws in 2018. The earlier draws this year occurred every two weeks. Draws this year have also reportedly seen the figure of the ITAs vary from 2,750 to 3,000, and the CRS totals range between the most recent high of 456 and 442--the lowest total drawn hitherto this year.

Against the backdrop of these variations, it is allegedly thought-provoking to envision when the next draw will occur and what the minimum CRS total will be for Canada Immigration under EE.

Reportedly, the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) yet again employed its tie-break law in the most recent EE draw.
This most recent EE draw for Canada Immigration was the fifth of this year, and this is the first year of the incumbent administration’s new multi-year immigration levels strategy.

For 2018, Ottawa has set-up a target of 74,900 admissions via the three economic immigration classes for Canada Immigration managed via the EE system, namely, the Federal Skilled Worker (FSW), the Federal Skilled Trades (FST), and the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).

The 2018 goal for the three Canada Immigration EE classes is 3,200 additional admissions, in relation to the goal for 2017, which eventually saw 86,023 ITAs given and a historic low CRS total of 413 in May. April and May 2017 also witnessed the biggest draws carried-out that year with the leading of the lot occurring on April 12, when 3,923 ITAs were proffered.

The IRCC still has a lot of ground to cover before it can fulfill its goals for this year and the next year. If we include the March 14 draw, the Maple Leaf Country has presently provided a combined total of 14,500 ITAs this year. It is still to be figured out how Ottawa will fulfill its goals. It could denote larger EE Canada Immigration draws or more regular draws, or, perhaps, some other tactic.

Reportedly, the EE aspirants have also been the recipients of an active beginning to 2018 for the Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario.

The said EE-linked class for Canada Immigration, which falls under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Programme (OINP), enables the province to explore the EE Pool for those applicants who have a CRS total of not less than 400, and who besides this also fulfill other essential requirements.
