Wish to change the SSID of comcast router?

An SSID means service set identifier. It means the wifi network name that is publicly visible in the range of the router. When choosing a name for the SSID, always make sure that it is a strong name and in no way does reveal the details of the brand of your router.

  • Login to your router

  • Open the wireless network settings

  • Edit the network name(SSID) and password

  • Make sure to save the settings
