First, what is CNG? CNG, the short form for Compressed Natural Gas is an alternative fuel used in place of gasoline, diesel. Natural gas has been used in homes for cooking and heating but it has become popular in the transportation industry.

CNG is derived from domestic gas wells or from the digesters used in the biogas industry. It is odorless, colorless; methane is cleaner and lighter component of natural gas and it is used to power cars, trucks, buses and it is the popular fuel for garbage trucks.
