Can GGG Make PoE Pants as A New Item Slot

In Path of Exile, seeing as the game was Path of Bisco's until it finally got nerfed in 3.2, I have an idea: why not have an itemslot entirely dedicated for MF? It would provide no (positive) combat stats whatsoever, but you would be able to craft it like any other piece of gear and get different MF mods.

It would work like this. The pants item slot would start off locked until you beat Kitava. After A10 you meet the new master, the Pantsmaster, who teases you for killing the gods with no pants on. This would unlock the pants item slot, a mastercrafting bench for pants, and the corresponding master missions and dailies (though I haven't thought of what these missions would consist of).

The point behind pants would be that they would let you pinpoint farm a specific kind of content. Possible mods could be IIQ that only works for Izaro chests, or a certain% chance for Alchs to drop twice instead of once when you find them, or a very big map IIQ bonus against unique monsters (map bosses).

You would be able to craft pants. People would spam boring threads to on Reddit about their new mirror tier pants. For some of the more powerful pants mods, they could even have negative effects as a counterweight (e.g. -max res for a mod that increases div card drop rates).

Some players think that in all seriousness, that could actually be cool as hell. That said, maybe it would be better to have it be a thing which replaces the baseline clothes of the exile, pants included?

Would be able to make and sell mtx for that slot, too, as well as potentially increasing sales of vanishing dye (to hide armor bits so you can see the clothes better). Instead of treating them like armor, treat them like jewels. If they ever add a jewel master, then the pants should be something they can do, too. What are your opinions?
