KCET Result 2018 – Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA), the official examination conducting authority will declare KCET 2018 result tentatively in the last week of May 2018. Applicants who took the KCET 2018 Exam can check the KCET Result 2018 in online mode in last week of May 2018. In order to check the KCET 2018 Scorecard, the candidate has to enter registration number and password. The KCET scorecard 2018 will be available only for those candidates who have appeared in the entrance test.

Candidates who manage to clear the cut-off marks in KCET 2018 will be able to check their scores and ranks by visiting the official website. Candidates will also be able to download their KCET 2018 Scorecard and Rank Card. Steps to check KCET 2018 Result

  • Candidates need to visit the official website of KCET 
  • Enter KCET 2018 registration number and click on Submit button
  • Check the result of KCET 2018 and download it for future use
  • Check whether the result sheet reflects any changes in the qualifying marks. Also, cross-verify the code on CET result sheet.

The content of KCET 2018 Result

The KCET 2018 Scorecard contains the following details:

  • Candidate's subject wise score
  • Candidate's total score secured in KCET 2018
  • Answer Sheet with responses by the candidates
  • Ranks of the candidates in the exam

KCET 2018 Merit List

The merit list of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in KCET 2018. 50 percent weightage will be given to marks scored in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in the qualifying examination. By combining both, Ranks will be assigned to the individual candidates. KCET 2018 Cutoff

The cutoff of KCET 2018 is the closing rank at which admission to a particular B.Tech programme, at a particular institute, is closed. KCET cutoff 2018 will be different as per the different categories of candidates. Only those candidates, who secure ranks either equal to or above the cutoff of KCET 2018 will be considered for admission.

KCET 2018 Counselling

The counselling will start in the month of June 2018 and schedule will be uploaded in the official website. The counselling of KCET 2018 will be conducted in both offline and online mode. All of those candidates who have qualified the KCET 2018 will be able to participate for the counselling session. Firstly, the candidates will have to verify their documents at the counselling centre after which they will be provided with a user ID and password. Next, the candidates will have to select their preferred colleges and courses. Seats will be allotted according to the applicant's preference and their merit ranks. Finally, the shortlisted candidates will be required to report at their allotted institute for confirmation of admission.
