The Basic Of Branding Iron

1. While heating up your branding iron it's ideal temperature or while it's cooling down to room temperature, the branding iron must remain the branding iron in the horizontal position and rest on the provided stand or cradle.

2. Give time to heat the branding head and Allow 20-40 minutes. Factors that can affect heat up time include randing head size temperature control unit setting, change in working area such as a draft, Temperature, and humidity.

Branding Procedure

3. Ensure that the material you take it's smooth and dust free. Set the material at smooth and clean flat surface.

4. Use TCU (Temperature Control Unit) Plug your TCU into the power outlet and plug the branding iron into TCU.

5. Make sure the branding iron head is firmly attached to your heating tool and is resting on provided stand or cradle. Use heat-resistant surfaces that cannot burn or not catch fire.

6. For plastic: A good starting point is set your TCU at 20% to 30% (depending on your plastic material) wait 15 to 20 minutes for branding head is properly heated up.

7. For Leather: Set you TCU at 40% to 60% (Low percentage if you use lightweight leather and high percentage if you use the higher quality) Wait for about 15 to 20 minutes till you branding head heat up properly.

8. For Wood: Set the TCU to 70% (Low percentage for softwood and high percentage for hardwood) Wait 20 minutes and your branding iron is ready to mark your product.

9. After you marked the few products wait few seconds to regain the heat and after some time you will start again.

10. Test it before use on your scrap material and after that, if you obtain the desired test mark then you start on your original product.
