Improve algorithm for the "loot" process

I've learned about the rumours which items that drop from mobs will only remain for 30 seconds instead of the normal 180 seconds (or somewhere around that I'm not sure). Okay, okay. So assuming the standard duration was 180s, and Buy Maplestory Mesos supposing for that length you constantly kill mobs at precisely the exact same rate, the max amount of items on the earth is going to be reduced to 30/180=1/6. Does this help at all?

I honestly do not agree. Pet loot already lags while picking 10 items from a total possible items on map of 20. It can depend on your hardware and network however.Regardless of if this so-called alternative fixes the loot lag, everyone should agree that this really is THE typical Nexon-approach of fixing problems: fix the issue on the face, split every associated AND unrelated elements in match while significantly nerfing game encounter. Think of everything they did to Kanna and Kishin recently.

Think of what they do when they nerf training maps because it was too popular, rather than buffing other unpopular/outdated maps so people are able to spread while not needing their exp gain rate reduced, then reduce the exp necessary to reach Lv200 since it's too difficult to level with all the maps nerfed. Really? This is the most stupid approach of every problem. Obviously balancing every maps in the game is impossible and impractical, so 1 map will always be better compared to others. Obviously Nexon will then nerf this map.

Back to the topic. Assuming from gamers' experiences which you lag when you pick up items while there are a lot of items on the floor in the whole map, so I can only say that Nexon developers just can not be bothered to really write some good code, and only focus on incorporating more broken buggy contents.

Okay back to the topic. Assuming from Maplestory items gamers' experiences which you lag once you pick up items while there are a whole lot of items on the ground in the whole map, I guess that the looting algorithm is the most fundamental one that everyone can think of: "yea just loop through all the items in the map and do a wreck detection with the pet, and if it collides, while still inside the loop deliver a request packet to the server that the pet is trying to pick up ONE item".
