1. Removing spam emails on system

To remove unwanted email while using a computer, the user can follow these steps:

Step1: Begin by opening the Yahoo website by typing it into the browser. This would open the Yahoo inbox page. Enter the email address and password when prompted.

Step2: Choose spam emails. Tap the checkbox to the left of each email that the user wants to mark as spam.

Step3: Tap spam option. Doing so would move the selected emails into the spam folder.

Step4: Tap the spam folder. This choice is on the left side of the inbox page. The Spam folder will open. If the user wants to remove the spam folder's contents, then they can tap the trash icon

Step5: Choose the spam folder's contents. Tap the checkbox.

Step6: Tap delete option.

2. Removing spam emails on mobile

Step1: Begin by starting the Yahoo mail. If the device contains a Yahoo mail app, then click on that icon.

Step2: Choose spam emails. Touch and hold a spam email until a checkmark arrives then hit another email that the user wants to mark as spam.

Step3: Tap the menu option. A pop-up menu would arrive.

Step4: Click the mark stating spam. The user would find the option at the top of the pop-up menu. The chosen emails will be moved into the Spam folder.

Step5: Drag down and hit the trash icon next to spam. The user would find this option near the middle of the menu.

Step6: Hit the ok option when prompted. Doing so would delete the spam folder's contents.

3. Blocking the spam address

Step1: Begin with the Yahoo inbox.

Step2: Open a spam email. Click a spam email to open it.

Step3: Follow the spam email's address. In the upper-left corner of the email, the user would see a sender name along with an email address. Tap and drag the mouse across the email address to pick it, then press ctrl+c to copy the address.

Step4: Tap Settings and click more settings option. The Settings window will open.

Step5: Tap the security and privacy tab.

Step6: Click add icon.

Step7: Start the spam email address. Click the "Address" text field, then press Ctrl+V to paste the copied email address into the text field.

Step8: Tap save. Doing so will add the address to the blocked list.
