Health Insurance has always been of a great importance to the economy of every nation of the world and even the big and developed countries of the world prioritize the concept of health insurance because of the stability it can bring into the economy and also because the investment can be used to create new and ameliorate the existing medical infrastructure of the country.

Let us have a look at the structure of the health insurance in few of the countries of the world:

  1. In Canada, the health insurance is primarily financed by the government and the healthcare is more inclined towards the private sector. The government in Canada spends around 70% of the overall healthcare spending.
  2. Singapore has quite a different outlook and approach towards this as most of the care is given I the government hospitals which is usually free and few private rooms are charged a bit. It is believed that the workers and employees in Singapore spend around 36% of their earnings to the accounts which are spent on the health care, housing, insurance, and education.
  3. The medical care coverage in Britain is immense and the best part is that government finances the health care expenses and it is done through the National Health Service. The government is believed to spend more than 80% of the total expenses related to the health care.
  4. The Australian government provides free medical care in the government hospitals and there is a presence of private insurance facility.
  5. In France, it is compulsory for everyone to buy a health insurance, over 90% of the population is covered by one or the other policy and the government spends around 11.8 % of the GDP.
  6. Most of the German people get their coverage through the National Public System whereas private insurance facility is also available. Most of the insurance coverage is through the jobs and other employment methods.
  7. Switzerland also has a universal health care system that demands everyone to register and stay covered in the health insurance policies. The system in Switzerland is very much similar to the German economy.

It is for sure that all the aforementioned economies emphasize a lot on the healthcare industry and they also spend a lot on the health sector to uplift the standards of the medical infrastructure in their respective countries. Indian economy has a mixed approach towards the entire concept where the government plays the key role to manage the sector but a great awareness is required from the common people to uplift the existing state of the situation.

Medimanage health insurance has a great infrastructure of beneficial policies and trained staff who can completely take care of the need of the clients and their expectations from the health insurance plans and policies.
