ZGlue Launches a Configurable System

We believe in the power of semiconductor technology and Moore’s Law.

We also believe in a future where anyone and everyone, with or without an engineering degree, can build a personalized hardware product as easily and quickly as building a web application is today. Our dream is to change the world for the better by providing the helping hand that makes this possible.

In 2014, we looked at the state of the industry and the available technology and saw a rich menu of Wireless Fitness Tracker components, powerful EDA tools, and excellent manufacturing services. We saw that the visionaries, builders, and explorers of the IoT industry wanted a faster and cheaper way to launch their new products with the same rich features and integration capability that only dedicated SoCs could enable. We also saw that this had to happen without the high upfront costs of chip development and manufacturing and having to wait years for production to come to fruition. We saw organizations making difficult trade-offs between fast time to market for a first product, and then between features, quality, and scalability for future generation products.

We saw a need for a different kind of technology, one that is cheaper than SoC, smaller than PCB, and with a much easier and faster path from prototype to production than traditional design and manufacturing services can offer. We knew that a new and different kind of company was needed to build it. That’s why we founded zGlue.

What We Do
We stack chips on demand by integrating the essential pieces of any connected things - processing, sensing, memory, and communication into one chip - giving unlimited freedom for creating things that are smaller, faster, and cheaper than what standard SoC and PCB integration technologies can offer. We help you build your next big thing, with quality, speed, and scalability.

Where We're Going
We’re working to build a future where an idea can turn into a software model in minutes and into a finished hardware product in just days. We want everyone to have access to the power of Moore’s Law, know the wonder of Wearable Reference Design, and experience the quality, speed, and scale of tomorrow’s technology. We’re not there yet, but we know the future is near.
