Motherboards that Consists with Resistors and Transistors

The motherboard is the central circuit board in a PC. There are many devices and components are inbuilt within the motherboard that are needed to make the computer work. It is connected to computer through using a socket and or port. There are several major parts of the motherboard. They are CPU socket, memory slot, chipset, interface connectors, expansion slots, back panel connectors. CPU socket is intended to secure the processor in the right place. Memory slots are either a single or dual channel. A single channel slot is designed to accept any number of memories, while a dual channel is designed to accept matching pairs with equal speed and size capabilities. Chipset is split into two sections known as North Bridge and south Bridge.

The North Bridge chipset relates to the fast capabilities of the PC while the South Bridge chipset takes the responsibility of the slower communication processes. Interface connectors are attached with drives and motherboard. There are many varieties of expansion slots that includes in PC. An Accelerated Graphics Port (AGP) and a Peripheral Component Interface (PCI) are some of the expansion slots. Back panel connectors are used\ to connect either back or side ports include the external speakers, keyboard, mouse, hard drive and printer.

Dominating performance till today

There are many manufacturing companies that manufacture motherboards to the computer system. In 2008, Intel’s i7 is launched. This has been giving dominating performance charts from that moment. It is the good motherboard for i7 7700k. In their own segment, i7 processors had no real competition up until recently when AMD launched Ryzen. The i7 7700k is Intel’s seventh implantation of i7, and is based upon the Kaby-Lake architecture which is basically a refresh of the sky lake architecture that pushes the 14nm fabrication process even further. At the time of writing the i7 7700k, it is the Intel’s most powerful mainstream CPU, and the option of choice for Intel fans building a high end rig.

Some of the problems with motherboard

There are also problems with motherboard. The user needs to change the battery frequently. It usually happens in some inferior motherboards. The cause in software is generally with the incorrect CM-OS settings.  It will not allow the mouse to work properly when installing and booting up the windows system. The CPU or the motherboard cache sometimes may be the poor heat in the motherboard that gives rise to crashes the computer. Motherboard COM port, line print terminal port or integrated drive electronics port doesn’t work properly. This usually happens when user hot plug the relevant hardware. Generally the motherboards are consisted with resistors and transistors and it should handle with lot of care because any one of the part is disturbed, it affects the entire computer system.
