Four Card Poker

Four card poker is a new casino poker variation. Like caribbean stud poker, Pai Gow Poker and three card poker, the game is played between each player and the dealer. Four card poker is almost similar to three card poker. The purpose of the game is to beat the dealer's four card hand by making the best four card hand as possible. Just like the three card poker there is an option for placing an additional bet, which pays out according to a pay table, regardless of the dealer's hand.

Rules of four card poker

Four card poker is played with a standard 52 card deck. It is played on a table like the same size of a blackjack table with three circles in front of each player's seat: Aces up, Ante and 1x to 3x Ante. Each circle signals on of the betting options available in the game

The game begins with each of the player's decision whether to place bet on the Ante circle , the aces up circle or both. If a player wants to play both game he or she will put bets in even amounts in both circle.

The dealer deals each player's five face down card from which the players will choose the best four cards to form their highest possible four card poker hand . After the dealing each player looks at the cards and decides whether to fold or raise. If a player folds his cards he will lose both of his bets . And if a player chooses to raise he may raise it at least to the same amount of the Ante bet and up to three times the Ante. After all the players have their decisions, the dealer discloses his cards and selects the four best cards out of six.

If the dealer's hand is higher than player's hand, the player will lose all his bets, If the player's hand is higher than the dealer's hand or equal he will be paid 1:1 If a player's represents a three of kind or better he will be rewarded a bonus pay out based on a pay table regardless to the value of of the dealer's hand . The bonus pay table can vary from one casino to another. Usually the highest possible hand is ?the four of a kind which pays 25:1
