India is putting forth grants in Ayurveda and Yoga to Sri Lankans, the Indian High Commission in Colombo said today.

The High Commission declared grants to Sri Lankan nationals under the Ayush Scholarship Scheme for UG/PG/PhD courses in Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy for the scholastic year 2018-19.

The Government of India chooses exemplary Sri Lankan nationals for honor of these grants in counsel with the Ministry of Higher Education (MoHE) of the Government of Sri Lanka.

The grants cover full educational cost charges and a month to month sustenance stipend for the whole term of the course. The grant likewise covers settlement remittance and a yearly concede. Also, all ICCR researchers in India are given full human services offices.

Hopefuls keen on applying for these grants can send their Bio-Data in the arrangement recommended by MoHE alongside duplicates of supporting reports to the Ministry of Higher Education, 18 Ward Place, Colombo 07, at the very latest 25th July 2018.
