The famous Bollywood actress Sridevi died It is believed that the reason of her death was cardiac arrest. Sridevi was only 54 years old and she was quite fit. In such a way, people are surprised to wonder how despite being so fit, she came in the grip of a cardiac arrest.

Usually, people do not know the difference between heart attack and cardiac arrest. The heart does not get enough blood because of obstruction in the arteries in the heart attack, while the heartbeat is stopped in the cardiac arrest.

CARDIAC ARREST

A cardiac arrest occurs when the interaction of information between different parts of the heart gets worsened, which affects the heartbeat. At this stage, the heart stops pumping blood in the body, due to which the patient gets very difficult to breathe. In most cases, patients become unconscious at this time. If within a short period of time the patient is not taken to the doctor then he or she may die. In clear words, the heartbeat stops during the cardiac arrest.

Generally, the problem of cardiac arrest is more to those who have had a first-time heart attack.70% of those who die from this disease is due to any internal blockage in the heart. No signs are seen before the arrival of the cardiac arrest and due to this, the risk of death increases significantly because the patient does not get the time till he can reach the doctor. Those who have already had heart-related diseases such as coronary heart disease, heart attack, myocarditis etc. are more likely to have it.

If you suddenly see signs of severe pain in the chest, difficulty breathing, heaviness in chest or tightness and unnecessary sweating, do not ignore them at all. These are all signs of cardiac arrest.

TREATMENT OF CARDIAC ARREST

If the patient is taken to the doctor within a few minutes of the arrival of the cardiac arrest then his life can be saved. In such a situation the patient is given cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) with the help of which he is attempting to regulate his heartbeat. During this time, with the help of the defibrillator, electric shocks are also given to the patient, which can restart the heartbeat.

To avoid all these serious diseases, it is important that you take care of your fitness and make the necessary changes in your lifestyle. Exercise daily in the morning, eat nutritious things, green vegetables, stay away from stress and be happy. Keep checking your body at regular intervals.
