Research chemical Vs. Entheogenes- understand the difference

We have all come across the terms research chemicals and Entheogenes at least once in our lifetime. One can easily guess that research chemicals are also known as designer drugs and their uses. These are chemically altered forms of psychoactive drugs, ecstasy amphetamines, and cannabinoids and we can buy mexedrone crystal for the research purposes. These designer drugs are so manufactured to get similar structured drugs to scheduled drugs and thus can be called their analogs. 

Coming to Entheogenes, we need to know that research chemicals and Entheogenes are completely different. We just saw that research chemicals are chemically altered forms of chemicals. On the contrary to this, entheogens legal highs are natural plant extracts and not derived from any chemical alterations and reactions. Hence these can be considered to be as herbal highs. These herbal highs have been used by people as these are natural products and hence many recreational purposes are being served by it for thousands of years. These are just the simple basic definitions of research chemicals and Entheogenes, but there are several other differences too for these two compounds.

The various unique points that have been pointed out below shows the various difference between the two.

Research chemicals

Research chemicals as most people know are mainly used for scientific & research purposes. These are quite widely used in forensic toxicology labs, and also in vivo testing. Research chemicals like lone pent crystal, are used in the development of various chemical processes and novel pharmacotherapies. 

• There is a sole reason why these synthetic drugs were created. This was created to have a contribution to overcoming drug legislation as some of the psychoactive drugs are banned in some countries. 
• The 'research' word is used for two reasons. These drugs were usually found through a process of research. There are various methods such as an exploration of analogs and testing existing psychoactive substances. However, these drugs are only used for research studies in laboratories.
• The last point that comes into the most consideration is that these are readily available online from research chemical suppliers or vendors.

Entheogens

Entheogens are natural products that have been used in many ways. These are used in various tasks such as in established religious rituals, for personal spiritual development. Entheogens are even used in the medical field for therapeutic use and also in the form of as recreational drugs.

• Entheogen was considered to replace the terms like psychedelic and hallucinogen. In the early years of research into these drugs, scientists called them by the name "psychotomimetic" which means mimicking psychosis. 
• Many studies have documented reports of mystical and religious experiences from participants who were administered entheogen psychoactive drugs in controlled trials.
• There is a lot to know that scientists are yet to find out about entheogens who need to find out the answers relating to epistemology, ontology, and objectivity. 

Thus we see that there are differences because these are produced differently and even have different uses.
