SAT or the Scholastic Assessment Test is a globally accepted and recognised admission test for college/universities that lets students (high school) show what they know and how can they apply that knowledge. A number of students take this test is class 11 or class 12 or even earlier in class 10. Almost every university and college in the United States, Canada, etc. uses the result of SAT for their admission decisions.

# Topics Tested

There are three sections that are tested on the SAT exam – mathematics, reading and writing. The first section covers all the critical mathematics sections like algebra, arithmetic operations, statistics, geometry and probability. The next section of reading includes sentence completions and passage reading. And the last second section has MCQs (multiple choice questions) on spotting the errors, grammar, short essays, etc.

#How Many Times a Student Should Takes the Test?

A good number of students take this exam at least twice. Most of them see an improvement the second time they attempt. However, students have to be cautioned against sitting in the examination too many times as multiple attempts are not an assurance of a higher score.
