Reading Test Banks and Solutions Manual is not Cheating

Posted by William Hurt on September 8th, 2018

The test bank is what most professors use as a reference when writing your quizzes.  It comes with a solutions manual that contains answers to test bank questions.

Passing an exam is not a must

Reading an exam bank does not guarantee that you will pass an exam though. Odds of finding one or more questions in an exam are high but finding every Multiple Choice Questions will seldom happen. In short, test banks do not necessarily provide an exam leak.

Unless you plan to bring the item to class when the quiz is being done you are not a cheater. So do not ignore these question papers for fear of being caught and charged with misconduct.

Test banks are for revision only

These papers are purely for revision purposes. The internet has test banks for various books, and teachers are aware of that. As a result, they cannot be so naïve to use just one bank to set a whole exam paper.

They are likely to use many Test Banks to reduce the odds that some of their students will have memorized all questions from one bank, and are just waiting to write the answers down.
