Fortnite?s Playground Mode is back after a few days of downtime

According to some Reddit post by JShredz, a part of Epic’s Live Operations team, the problem simply dropped to the amount of people wanted try Playground.
“When you will be making matches for every single 1-4 people, it takes between 25x and 100x as much matches as normal per 100 people according to their party size,” JShredz explained. Since then, Epic did some work for Fortnite Items the back end of their servers that can help prevent this type of issue making game creation easier. And like a fallback plan, Epic has isolated Playground onto a server so that it can’t affect regular game modes.
As some bonus information, JShredz said, “There is certainly a good chance based for the data I saw that matchmaker was creating sport lobbies faster than any game ever has ever done. We’ve got world-class engineers, but even we're also sometimes amazed by how popular mafia wars is.”
JShredz also commented on private Fortnite Materials hosting of Playground Mode, as well as an explanation of why simply that won’t work. Fortnite’s code doesn’t function without client-server interactions, so there really isn' way for individuals to host their unique games. Thankfully, he explained, there isn't any issue whatsoever with server availability; the condition was with how soon the system could create the matches themselves, that is something that needs to be fixed now.
