Types of yoga and its benefits

What is yoga

We all are well known for the health benefits of yoga, people from all the corners of the earth are going crazy about this wonderful science. The traditional discipline of yoga as practiced in Asian countries like India is laid down thousands of years ago and based on the simple methodology of maintaining harmony among the three components of life mind body and soul. it has the roots in the Vedic wisdom and literature that, makes muscles strong and limbs flexible, the body more immune and mind calmer and relaxes all contributing to better health and high happiness index.

The foundation of yoga has been laid many years before which can still be formulated through various researches which are done time to time and we can understand the kind of impact yoga has on one’s mind body and soul.

Types of yoga :

Hatha yoga

It is derived from the Sanskrit word which breaks into the word ha that means the sun (mind) and the word that that means moon (consciousness). “Hatha” means the yoga to bring balance between the sun and the moon. This means preparing the body to balance between the energies of the Supreme universe that is the driving force of life in every particle present in the universe. similarly, we manipulate these energies within and outward for our betterment and in hath yoga, we manipulate these by postures technique so that these energies can be utilized. Examples are virabhadrasana, trikonasana.

Kundalini yoga

 It is focused on both the spiritual and physical aspect of yoga. It is about releasing the energy inside body said to be trapped inside the body. This form of yoga works on the core and breathing with fast-moving, invigorating postures and breathes exercises. Classes of kundalini yoga are pretty intense and involve chanting, mantra, and meditation.

Ashtanga yoga

In Sanskrit Ashtanga means "Eight Limb path." Ashtanga yoga involves physically demanding sequence of postures. Ashtanga. Vinyasa yoga originates from Ashtanga yoga.

Vinyasa yoga

This word vinyasa in language Sanskrit transcript into meaning arranging something or connecting something in a way in which things flow one after another like yoga poses .in vinyasa yoga class there if a cyclic flow of movement from one pose to another with rhythmic breathing. ashtanga yoga, Jivamukti yoga, and pranayamas are considered as vinyasa yoga. surya namaskar (sun salutation) is a complex form of vinyasa yoga.

Benefit of  yoga :

1. It helps to increase the immunity and infection in check

2. Stimulates growth of the body and strengthen the muscles

3.it enlightens the spiritual aspect

4. Helps them stay focused and improves your concentration power

5. Makes mind more calm and patient

There is so much about yoga that you might not even know but still one thing at a time can help you to reach new heights and support you to a whole new level. Just trust yourself and give it a chance to keep pushing. Then you can reach new heights and attain peace.
