Red carpet events are accompanied by a lot of buzzes. Pages of newspapers are dedicated to these events. Photo galleries on websites cover these events elaborately. There is a lot of show and pomp that goes with making a red carpet event the hype that it is. There is a sequence of celebrities posing in the best of dresses for women. Some of them are breathtaking beauties that influence everything from dresses, tops, kurtis, dupattas online. Often a particular color becomes popular after a famous red carpet event. Other times, a particular style becomes a rage. I wonder if a red carpet event influences everyday fashion at all or is everyday fashion a fall out of red carpet events!?

Everyday fashion is dominated by comfort, mobility, and usability. The wearer is a person next door with roles to perform in various capacities. A statement that is lasting enough on the minds and psyche of people that they look forward to one more such event.

Retailers like Myntra, AJIO and Mustard have dedicated teams that look into sourcing outfits that are for everyday use but nothing short of stunning pieces akin to celebrity fashion.
