Now under Logon Information, kindly configure the following settings:
Type your user name in the User Name box. The user name is the part of your email address to the left of the @ symbol. Few ISPs require the full email address. So in case if needed then please contact your ISP.
In the Password box, type the password which is provided by your ISP.
Click to select the Remember password check box if you want it to be.
Click to select the Require logon by using Secure Password Authentication (SPA) when your ISP is requiring it, check box to log on by using Secure Password Authentication.
Now select Test Account Settings. When you select Test Account Settings, the following process will be occur:
The connectivity of the system to the Internet is confirmed.
You are logged on to the SMTP server.
You are logged on to the POP3 server.
Outlook automatically sets the Log on to incoming mail server before sending mail option if the POP3 server must be logged on to first.
A test message is sent.
Select Next > Finish.
