The son of a cardiology professor, Dr. Russo grew up surrounded by medical books and developed a passion for medicine from an early age. While other children were reading comic books, he was fascinated by anatomy journals and medical equipment and relentlessly pursued his dream of becoming a doctor.

Having undergone a serious injury and multiple surgeries at a young age, Dr. Russo’s personal journey allowed him to see the power of cosmetic surgery in changing lives for the better and this was a catalyst in his decision to become a plastic surgeon.
